“Mack” is a 7 year old Friesian x Morgan cross gelding standing 15 hands. This handsome gelding loves people, and will always be the first one to greet you at the gate! He has been ridden around the farm, down the road, and has been hauled to gymkhana events where he competed in barrels, poles, keyhole, and the flag race. Mack crosses water and trail obstacles with ease. In his past, he was an Amish cart horse and had 60 days in a feedlot. He’s been on the back burner for the past couple of years, but when I pulled him out of the pasture this spring, he was solid and reliable from the start! He stays at a healthy weight on pasture or grass hay, and is sound barefoot. Mack prefers to walk or trot, but will lope when asked. With a little more exposure and time, he has the potential to be trustworthy with any level of rider.
