“Marty Stuart” is an 11 year old Miniature Horse gelding standing right at 38” tall. Marty is the ultimate 100% finished kid’s pony who is ready to teach a new up and coming cowboy or cowgirl! Marty is a great saddle horse for a smaller child and also loves to pull his cart to accommodate larger kids and adults who also want to enjoy all that he has to offer! He is always safe and aware with his cart and is proficient with the voice commands “gee” and “haw”. He backs up, side passes, and stands well for harnessing. If you’re looking for a safe, sound, and gentle babysitter, Marty is your man! He is always eager to please and loves all the attention he can get – he’s a true treasure in the barn. One of Marty’s best attributes is his willingness to ride out alone. He is generally unfazed and unbothered with where other horses are, and he is not herd bound or buddy sour. He’s just happy to be a part of the gang on a trail ride, or equally happy on a solo trip. Marty makes frequent trips to town and is always polite and mild mannered. He recently won third place in the local fair parade down main street being driven solo by a 7 year old! Marty is a true gentleman and completely kid safe! He is up to date on all vaccinations and health certs. He stands great for the farrier for trims every 8 weeks and has good, strong hooves. Check out Marty’s extensive sale video!
**Marty sells with PROVEN STATUS - He will have a completed PPE on file, lengthy sale video, and will ride in the sift exam on Friday 10/10 at the fairgrounds, which is open & encouraged for the public to watch!**
