“Merty” is a 13 year old grade paint gelding standing 15.3 hands. Merty is a trail riding expert! He has seen many miles in the Colorado back country, taking hunters who have never ridden horses before into their camps. He is surefooted over rough terrain and is patient with his riders. Merty also rides well in the arena. He will walk, trot, and lope with riders who are above a novice level. He does not get bothered by new situations and will move out alone or with a group. From arenas to cow pastures, to the mountains, nothing bothers Merty! He loads in the trailer without hesitation. Here’s a fun, experienced dude horse to add to your string!
