Meet Chief! He is a flashy, 15.2hh, 6 year old Appaloosa (ApHC) Gelding.  Chief has been trail ridden with no signs of barn or buddy sourness and is very sure footed. This lovely gelding has been turned out alone, with mares, geldings, and even weanlings. Chief has lived both outside and in a stall and is a SUPER easy keeper. He maintains weight on forage only, without grain or supplements and is barefoot. Chief has been started on the barrel pattern and has begun adding speed. At the end of last season, he was running consistent 4D times with only 3 jackpots under his belt! He has hauled to local shows and barrel races both here in Colorado and in Kentucky and has no gate or alley issues. This stocky guy has been hauled across the country and he loads well in the trailer and stands for the vet and farrier.  Chief is a young guy and needs a confident and experienced rider to reach his full potential.
