Meet "Hoss Cartwright" - just like the famous Hoss on the show Bonanza! This 14 year old grade paint gelding is big burly, kind, and very sweet. This horse is the kind that is great for first time horse owners and beginners.
He stands 15.3 hands and will weigh 1,350 lbs. He prefers to just mosey down the trail and has more woah then go. He has been used on a ranch most of life and knows what steep rocky terrain is. He stays sure footed on the trail and takes care of his rider. He also rides in the arena and has a comfortable trot. He will pick up both of his leads in the arena and has a nice stop and backup. He has been used on overnight hunting and pack trips and handles them like a gentlemen. He stands like a rock for the farrier and for bathing and grooming. He gets along in a herd setting.
