“Diablos Shineywhiskey” is a 2020 solid APHA gelding standing 15.1 hands and weighing 1,160 lbs. “Curly” comes from a strong pedigree, sired by Diablos Painted Doc, a top 100 Equi-Stat Annual Reined Cow Horse and a proven producer of money earners in the NRCHA, APHA, and NRHA. We’ve had the privilege of owning Curly since he was a yearling, and our program focuses on developing horses in a variety of ways to ensure that they become reliable mounts for years to come. Curly has spent a considerable amount of time working on our ranch, helping move cattle, sort cows and calves, and participate in brandings during shipping. He’s also roped and doctored cattle in the pasture. Over the past two years, Curly was shown at our county fair by our 11 year old son, where they won 1st place in the Junior Gelding Halter class in 2024 and 2nd in 2025. This year, our son showed Curly in the reined cow horse class, placing 3rd. In addition to being used on the ranch, Curly has been used on the heel side at jackpot ropings and has gained experience in heading, heeling, and breakaway roping at home. His kind and willing nature, along with his quick learning abilities has made him a family favorite. With his calm and friendly demeanor, Curly has been equipped with the training and tools to excel in a variety of environments, making him a dependable and well rounded horse! 

**Curly sells with Proven Status - He will have a lengthy sale video, PPE on file, and will ride in the riding & handling sift exam at 11:00 AM on Friday, 10/10 at the fairgrounds. It is open and encouraged for consignors to come watch and will be live streamed on our Facebook page!**
