"Stitches Goldenarrow" - 2022 Palomino AQHA Gelding - 14.3 Hands

"Cache" is a fun horse to ride whose athletic ability matches his stunning looks! He is a beautiful palomino gelding originally out of Steamboat Springs, Colorado. Cache will walk, trot, and lope on a loose rein with great control and softness to match. He stands for the farrier and loads on and off the trailer with ease.

Cache came to us with cold-backed behaviors. We have helped him work through it, but he does best when his is lunged before he is saddled. When he is saddled, we recommend tightening up his cinch in 3 stages.

1st stage: Loose cinch while you tack him up and bridle him up.

2nd Stage: Snug tighten after walking him around after Stage 1.
3rd Stage: Tighten to ride.

This has shown to give the best results for him to not be cold backed and warm up to the saddle. He has bucked when asked to lunge with a tightened saddle, but we have not experienced him bucking with a rider. He also has a bald line on his cinch area that started out as an aggressive girth gall during training and has since healed, though it has left a bald line along his cinch area. Cache is a picky eater.
