“Teddy Bear” aka “Teddy” is a mid to late teens bay roan grade gelding with a resume that speaks for itself. This all-around ranch horse spent his younger years as a PRCA heel horse, and has since transitioned into a steady, reliable ranch mount. Teddy has done it all – ranch work, trails, and rodeo, and he carries himself like the seasoned pro he is! These days, he’s enjoying a slower pace and thrives in a walk/trot babysitter role. He is as gentle, safe, and kind as they come, and is the type you can put anyone on with confidence. He’s quiet, responsive, and easy to handle in every way. Teddy is kind-hearted and dependable. He loads, bathes, grooms, and hauls with no fuss, and rides out alone or with others. He is perfect for beginners, kids, or guests! He is great for light ranch work, trail riding, or teaching someone the ropes. Teddy is an honest, broke gelding who knows his job and enjoys it, but with many horses of his age and experience, he will require some maintenance if asked to work hard. He’s the happiest with a job that matches his current pace.
