“Weldona” is a 7 year old grade Quarter Horse mare. She carried a foal last summer and easily foaled a draft cross filly. Weldona was broke to ride before having her foal, but needed a refresher this spring. We rode her all winter in a large acreage pasture to check water and livestock. She was also used for packing salt blocks. This summer, she has been used in a dude string as a guide horse to lead guests through mountain trails. She crosses water, bridges, and downed logs on the trail. Weldona has also had a rope swung and roped off of her. She will require an intermediate to experienced rider who is confident. She is ready to go in any direction!
