**Women Of The West Consignment**
“GS Tiger Marks” is a 2020 dun AQHA gelding standing roughly 15.1 hands. “Which Juan” has all of the shape, chrome, mind, and temperament that you could ask for! He is sired by GS Ben Mark (Quincys Pretty Mark) and is out of Red Hat Goldseeker (Herman Goldseeker). This horse is by far one of our best young geldings and is certainly one of our favorites. It has truly been a pleasure to own him and he has a very bright future ahead of him! Juan has lots of trail riding miles, has spent time gathering cattle on the ranch, and has been introduced to the sorting pen. He is broke right and has been ridden correctly - he has a soft handle, is responsive to your leg, seat, and verbal cues. He will pick up the correct lead to both directions, has the start of a nice spin, will sidepass, and work a gate. Juan has a soft, easy trot and a comfortable, collected lope! He has some fun buttons but is also forgiving - he won’t plant you on your face for making the wrong move. Juan rides out alone on a loose rein and is quiet on the trail, in the arena, and out gathering in rough country. This gelding is friendly, good natured, and loves to be a goof ball! He has never offered any ugly behavior. He has been exposed to all kinds of livestock, including obnoxious goats, chickens, and dogs, and is unfazed by all of them. Juan loads and hauls well, stands quietly to be bathed and saddled, and loves attention! This gelding has been a pleasure to own and ride. In addition, he boasts a stunning dun color with flashy zebra stripes and great conformation with a shapey hip. He would be a fantastic prospect for the show pen as he is a beautiful mover with a great foundation! He unfortunately did have a run in with one of our baby horses who used his gorgeous, long tail as a snack, and it is now reduced to hock length. This is his only ‘blemish’ and it will grow back! This is a solid, sound, and sane young gelding with endless possibilities! We are only parting with him as we are in the process of a herd reduction this year.
