This is a unique program that the Colorado Horse Sale offers! At each sale, there is a specific Special Session that highlights a select group of horses or consignors that will sell in a row towards the middle of the sale. 

Special Sessions highlight a certain type or quality of horse to cater to the buyers looking for these kinds of horses! Each Special Session horse will have professional photos, a detailed sale video, and x-rays of their hooves and hocks.

To celebrate all the women in the western equine industry, we are featuring “Women of the West” consignors in the heat of the auction. These are western women who have applied for a spot and share the values of community, organization, education, and stellar horsemanship. Each Women of the West consignor is presenting an outstanding horse they have trained. 

This is our favorite Special Session of the year and highlights the hard working & talented ladies of our industry. We are honored to offer a platform for them to offer their wonderful horses to you! 

Each Women of the West horse will have a sale video, radiographs of their front feet and hocks, will complete the baseline veterinary exam, and will ride in the sift exam on Friday, 4/10. 

**Notes from the veterinary exams & sift exams will be available for buyers to review prior to sale time. The sift is open & encouraged for buyers to watch and will be live streamed on our YouTube page. Buyers are welcome to be present for the veterinary exams as well**
