"SHORTY J BADGER" - 2016 AQHA Sorrel Mare, 14.2hh, Bay Stud Colt at Side (his papers are guaranteed but pending).

"Shorty" is an 8 year old AQHA mare who has had the year off to be the mama to a beautiful stud colt! She has been used all over our ranch gathering & sorting cattle. We've had her for 5 years & she has seen all aspects of ranch & show horse life!  We've also hauled her to town for VRH, team penning & sorting shows. She's been trail ridden and had a lot of outside miles.  She is best for intermediate rider, and has taught lessons. We will sell her with the option of a tune up and lessons as well if the buyer would like it!   Shorty is good with her feet and the farrier. She leads, loads, hauls , clips, bathes, no issues, stands tied.

The foal is a bay stud colt. Currently being halter broke basic ground getting done. He will be ready to wean beginning of October. The sire of this colt is a homozygous black stallion that we show in the cutting, sorting, and penning. He has about $5000 in earnings as of right now and still showing.

I guarantee the papers on this home-raised colt, but they are pending with AQHA.

Sired by JOHNIE RAY, paternal grandson of DOC’S J JAY, an own son of the legendary DOC BAR. Out of a daughter of ROOSTERS SHORTY who is an own son of GALLO DEL CIELO - Million dollar sire and $28.436 in NCHA earnings. 

We are open to splitting this pair and selling them separately, but the colt will stay at her side until October.
