“Chief” is a 12 year old grade gelding standing 15.3 hands and stout! If you’re looking for a nice gelding who is built to last and is safe for the whole family, Chief is your guy! He has been all over the rough country of Arizona being hunted off of and maneuvering steep trails. He is sure footed and has a nice, consistent walk. He crosses water, walks over logs, and is great riding through town. He isn’t bothered by heavy traffic and is used to dogs barking and other loud noises. Chief rides amazing in the arena and lopes nice beautiful circles, rides one handed, and moves off of leg pressure. We have had all kinds of riders on him with no issues. He would be happy being your go-to ranch horse to sort and doctor cattle, or being your easy-going trail horse! He bathes, stands tied, clips, and loads in a trailer with ease. He is UTD on vaccinations, deworming, and is shod all the way around. Here’s a nice, gentle gelding that will help your whole family be successful!
