“Dun Drifted Away” is a 2025 dun roan AQHA colt (papers pending) who is expected to mature over 15 hands, given the size of his sire and dam. This nice colt is the first offspring of “LX Copperwood Drift” that I’ve had to offer. He is a regular in my string of saddle horses and has seen every aspect of ranch and feedlot work. Some photos of him are attached. So far, his foals have shown to be as gentle and quick-learning as he is. Our mares run in a large, native prairie pasture year round, and take care of themselves and their foals with minimal assistance. This colt will be weaned the 1st of October. We will get a halter on him and get him leading at the time of weaning. The buyer has the option to wait 30 days to pick him up if they choose. His registration application has been sent in to AQHA, and his papers are guaranteed to the buyer.
