“Goose” is a big, good-looking 17 year old grade gelding with some fun buttons! I was told he originally came from a reining program and is a grandson of Hollywood Dunnit, but unfortunately his previous owners lost his papers. Goose is extremely cowy and has been used to rope on the head and heel side, breakaway, brand, gather, and sort. He’s strong, handy, and still packs a big motor for his age. He will collect up and lope pretty circles. With how cowy he is, he would excel as a team penning or sorting horse! Goose has been hauled extensively and travels well. I rode him through the Garden of the Gods when I first got him, and nothing phased him. He is a big, talented gelding who you can do lots of things with!

Condition
Goose has a big motor and is sensitive, so I would not recommend him for beginners. He rides out well by himself but can occasionally be buddy sour when tied to the trailer or left in the pasture. He would do best in a home with other horses.
Like most older horses, Goose requires some maintenance. He requires freedom shoes on his front end due to some coffin joint issues and has a knee with some arthritis. He stays sound with the freedom shoes, but I have injected him in the past.
