“Little Grey” is a 2021 mare registered with the American Quarter Horse Registry (AqHR) and standing 14.1 hands. She was started under saddle in December of 2023 and had 90+ rides by the time spring ranch work was done. Little Grey was ridden in the arena throughout the winter and developed a solid foundation. She has worked cattle and roped in and out of the arena. She tracks well and has a great start on the roping side. She lopes correct circles, rides around soft, and has a nice little stop. She has been ridden outside for the majority of her rides and has handled big, high pressure tasks with ease! She has sorted pairs, brought cows in the barn with a breech calf, and more. Although she is a nice little mare with a solid start, she will do best with a confident rider to continue her training in the right direction as she can get a little nervous from time to time due to her young age. Little Grey had the entire summer off to grow and just be a horse and is now back at it for fall ranch work. She is ready for a job in all aspects of ranching or trail riding, and also has lots of potential to make a nice breakaway or heel horse down the road!
