“Lucy” is a 7 year old grade pony mare standing 13.1 hands. She has talent, heart, and plenty of go! Whether you’re looking for a youth hunter jumper, all around ranch pony, or a competitive partner, Lucy is up for the job. She keeps up with the big horses and might even outpace them! She’s stout enough for adults, and is ready to take her next rider to the top. Lucy is well-built, sound, full of sass, and sweet as can be! She’s perfect for someone who wants to go everywhere and do everything. Lucy walks, trots, and lopes nicely on a loose rein, is forward, and loves to move. She’s been ridden English and Western, taken through jumping courses, worked cattle, gone on trail rides, seen the barrels, and has been ridden bareback in just a halter. Lucy is trustworthy and safe, but due to her big motor and busy body, she’s best suited for an intermediate rider and up. A beginner could ride her under direct supervision of a trainer or experienced horse person. She has done wonderfully with advanced beginners, and has even been used in a kid’s camp!
