“Martini” is a 5 year old Gypsy X Shire cross gelding standing 16.2 hands (registration pending with the IDHA - Drum Horse Association). Martini has a kind mind, willing disposition, and a great work ethic. He is broke to ride and drive. He has smooth, relaxed gaits and is a pleasure to take places as he rides out well alone or with a group. He loves attention, being out with his rider, and having fun. Martini has been extensively trail ridden and travels happily up and down mountains, through rivers, over obstacles, deadfall, and logs. He also loves taking it easy with a nice, quiet ride down the road and is unphased about any wildlife you may encounter on the trail. He is fancy broke enough for an experienced rider to have fun on and is also gentle, tolerant, and forgiving for beginner riders to stay safe. We’ve counted on his easy-going temperament to take care of family & friends who come to ride once a year, and he does great! Martini is also a ton of fun to drive! He drives both single and double and is totally quiet around traffic. He has correct conformation for a Gypsy X Shire cross, strong bones and feet, and no blemishes. He has been sound and has no vices. Martini stands nicely for mounting, saddling, and harnessing. He is polite to groom, bathe, shoe, and trailer - he gets in and backs out with ease. He is a been there, done that kind of horse who gets along very well with other horses.  Martini is a versatile, flashy gelding to ride, drive, take down the trail, pack guests around, show off in the arena, or to just enjoy!
