“Harlans Dusty Peal” is a 2022 buckskin AQHA mare standing 14.3 hands. Don’t let her age fool you, she has an old soul personality. “Mia” is quiet, gentle, and easily trainable. She was started by a reining trainer and has all the right basics! She is soft in the mouth, works off seat and leg, and is quietly responsive. Mia walks, jogs, and lopes both directions, backs up, and moves off leg pressure. She naturally has a level head carriage, and has a nice stop and is starting slow spins. This summer, she gained a ton of experience riding outside on trails, checking fences and cattle, and will ride out alone. While she is not spooky or watchy, she still gains confidence from her rider. We have hauled her to various trail rides and events, including a rodeo over the 4th of July! She rode quietly and was unbothered by the fireworks going off at night in the nearby town. Mia settles into new places quickly and travels well. Our young kids lead her in the barn, groom her, ride leadline and double with us, and load/unload her from the trailer. She ponies with kids behind her and doesn’t get worried if the pony bumps into her. Mia is an exceptional young mare who is sure to make someone a great partner, whether in the show ring, pleasure riding, or ranch work!

**Mia sells with PROVEN STATUS - she will have a completed PPE on file, lengthy sale video, and will ride in the sift exam on Friday, 8/22 at the fairgrounds, which is open to the public to come watch!**
