“Remington” is a 12 year old grade gelding standing 15.1 hands. This experienced gelding has been used on cattle drives, in the branding pen, and served as a reliable lead pack horse at hunting camp. He is used to grazing at camp on a 30 foot line with an ankle collar on his front foot! Remington loves trail rides and will go anywhere you point him. He calmly picks his way over obstacles such as rocks, logs, ditches, and water and will sidepass up to a gate. He is the same horse whether he has a month off or a year off – bring him up out of the pasture and go straight to work, he’ll go all day! Remington stands to saddle, bathe, clip, groom, and is good for the farrier. He will lower his head on cue for you to put the bridle on, and he’ll hop right in the trailer. He is a super good head horse and has great ground manners. He does have a small scar on the inside of his front right foot, but it has never bothered him.
