“Send N Royal Chex” is a 2015 AQHA gelding standing 15 hands. “Chex” has done it all - showing, ranch work, gymkhana, ranch sorting, and team penning. He’s even strutted his stuff in reining and ranch versatility events, racking up points and money earnings like a pro! We’ve roped off of him in the arena with ease and have used him to help start colts and pony other horses with no issues. This all-around gelding is always eager to please and never pulls any of that fresh or cold-backed nonsense! He responds beautifully to your seat and leg and is soft in the bridle or bosal. He is best suited for a confident intermediate rider who knows their stuff. Chex has top-notch ground manners and is easy to catch, bathe, load, haul, and saddle. No cinchy or goosey antics here! He might raise an eyebrow at new things every now and then, but don’t worry - no bucking or bolting, he’s just a curious horse checking things out. He thrives out in pasture and respects hot wire fences. Chex is an easy keeper and loves his alfalfa and grass hay. His feet are in great shape and he is quiet for the farrier. He usually just gets a trim, unless it’s show time when he rocks sliders on the hinds. He does not require any maintenance and has been sound as a dollar bill during the three years in my program. Chex is ready to be your next superstar!
