"Blackie" is a 16 year old grade gelding standing 13.2 hands and built like a little draft horse! Blackie is a fun, safe trail pony. We have taken him all over the mountains with various levels of riders and he does great! He can go all day & is extremely gritty! Blackie is surefooted, gentle on the ground, and a point & shoot ride. He enjoys baths, ties to the trailer all day if you need him to - and is just a great little dude! He has big, hardy feet & is easy to shoe. His only vice we've found is that he prefers to be turned out with mares over geldings. He rides fine in a group with geldings. Shipping is the buyer's responsibility. All horses must be off site by 12pm on Sunday, September 1st.
Overnight care is available for $40 including feed & water. Horses are not supervised overnight. We strongly encourage buyers to pay immediately & pick up upon payment.
