"Possum” is a 3 year old blue roan grade mare standing 15 hands. Possum is one of the smoothest, lightest, most free-moving young horses I’ve ever ridden and I can’t say enough great things about this mare! She has spent time at the sale barn, feedlot, has gathered cattle, and been hauled everywhere you can think of. She has a big motor and is the one you need to get an all-day job done! Possum has a great handle and is responsive to leg pressure, rides off your seat, collects with ease, and has a great set of brakes. She is the same horse after time off and will give you 110% no matter what you’re doing. She is ready for a job and is not a horse for the weak. There’s a lot of heart to this mare and I believe she could make an awesome barrel racing or rope horse prospect with the right training. Possum stands tied, bathes, and is easy to catch. She is not buddy sour, does not kick, and has no spook. She would be best suited for a more experienced rider simply due to having a big motor. She is up to date on her teeth and vaccinations.
