“Goliath 4K” - 2019 Buckskin IDSHR (International Draft and Sporthorse Registry) Gelding - 16 Hands
“Goliath” is a handsome buckskin gelding registered with the International Draft and Sporthorse Registry. He is sired by a Quarter Horse stallion and is out of a Percheron mare. Goliath combines draft horse strength with athletic Quarter Horse versatility! He is well trained in both English and Western disciplines, making him very versatile. He is exceptionally reliable on the trails and drives cattle effectively, showing focus, responsiveness, and a strong work ethic in a ranch environment. Although I have never used him as a carriage horse, he was trained to pull a carriage. With a calm, intelligent, and willing disposition, Goliath is easy to catch, trailers easily, stands quietly to be saddled and mounted and for the vet and farrier, and handles new situations with steady composure. His friendly, people-oriented nature makes him a pleasure to be around both in and out of the saddle. He is an outstanding all-around partner!

Condition
Goliath doesn't crib and has no required feed supplements. He ties quietly for long periods of time, has never has foundered, is not watchy on the ground, and is not cold backed. He doesn't need to be lunged before riding and has no physical or medical problems. His only bad habit that I've experienced is that he likes to put his head in your personal space and on your shoulder. He will lip your arm or jacket once he gets to know you. He has never bitten me. I have been lax about allowing this habit, but it's an easy fix.
